What we have learned over the last 12 years in our little production spaces … (Or at MIT, or at Phillips Exeter or Phillips Andover… Or quiet out of the limelight tests at Sundance, Slamdance, Cannes etc,etc… ) With all of our projects…big lesson. The audience does not want to work or even interface when it comes to immersion or being drawn into the world. it is the internal magic (human or fantastical genres). Lots of people hem and haw about reality vs fantastical or science fiction (little history > fiction is fiction… You’re false gravitas in fake real world narratives don’t teach more or less about the human condition… Unless you are a documentary. often your the lessons/observations of gritty drama reality we express are more subversive of the truth.) but most people miss that with interface people don’t want to work at it. The immersion magnate is inside their heart and gut within their mind. That is a snake charmer’s job. Heart, head, appetite driving them into movement. Only by persuasion from inside those things will interactive and cubic work. Not an expert on platforms or action. ethos, pathos, logos. – at Hyvquarters
