I am moving files around from our fight scene last week. We didn’t do it in one take …but the exhaustion (specifically mine) … Is apparent as I sit here a week later clutching the pain in my ribs which is as bad now as the day of the scene. Today we started to realize I probably fractured my ribs early in the shoot not just bruised them as we thought. But when you watch the scene I am kind of proud that the pain and exhaustion reads…very… Very clearly. Not fake. …at all. After I had read something 5years ago by Agrest is when I needed to dig out my notes from my “history of communication in the ‘home’ notes from one of Sarah Trenholm’s classes. We studied In a few classes the overlap between architecture and communication. With the Agreste paper I realized with the Storycube Hyv we needed to do the opposite of what she was doing having students read and view films to understand architecture. We needed to view architecture now to design film. http://www.npr.org/blogs/ed/2015/04/21/392767591/teaching-students-to-hear-the-music-in-the-built-world – at Hyvquarters
